Do you offer services for residential customers?

At this time, we only provide services to businesses. Due to liability and insurance requirements, we are unable to service residential locations. This allows us to maintain consistent safety, compliance, and service standards across all of our operations.

Do you accept walk-in shredding?

›

Yes, we accept walk-in shredding at select Corodata locations. However, walk-in hours vary by location, so we strongly recommend calling ahead to confirm availability before visiting.

Please note that all walk-in services are drop-off only. Materials are securely collected and transported for destruction, but on-site or witnessed shredding is not available.

How does Corodata charge for shredding services?

Corodata charges based on the volume of paper you need shredded.

If your documents are in bags, we transfer them into 64 or 96 gallon bins and charge per bin. We typically charge $22 to $24 for a 64 gallon bin and $30 to $34 for a 96 gallon bin.
For smaller quantities, we measure by standard banker boxes (10” x 12” x 15”) and charge per box.

Pricing:

Off-site shredding: averaging at $6.70 per box (minimum $99)
On-site shredding: averaging at $6.20 per box (minimum $139)
Recurring service: Starts at $64/month

Final pricing depends on factors like volume, service type, frequency, and location. We offer custom quotes to ensure the best value.

How should I prepare my materials for shredding?

Preparing your materials for shredding is simple, and we offer flexible options to meet your needs:

Banker Boxes: If your documents are already packed in standard banker boxes, you're all set! Our team will pick up the sealed boxes directly from your location and shred the contents securely.
Loose Materials or Trash Bags: If your materials aren’t boxed and are instead in trash bags or loose, we recommend using our secure 64-gallon shredding bins. We'll deliver the bins to your facility, and you can fill them up at your convenience. Shredding is then billed per bin.

How do I know my documents have been securely shredded?

Every shredding service is completed by trained professionals, and you’ll receive a Certificate of Destruction for your records. Miles and Marshall provided swift, concise, and excellent customer service when I needed scanning of my documents completed. Marshall emailed me back almost immediately every time and helped me coordinate document drop off. The scans are crystal clear and had a very fast turnaround considering the number of docs. I also dropped off a packet for shredding. Kudos and thank you to whoever did they actual scanning. High quality scans that are easily searchable and they even broke them down into the individual packets i dropped the documents off in. This service is super beneficial to me and I would definitely recommend Corodata for any large doc scanning needs you may have.

The staff at Corodata, including warehouse and office personnel, were very helpful and accommodating. I had to review the file contents and mark dozens of boxes for shredding/destruction. It took 7 hours, and everyone helped to make our job easier. We were able to eat lunch onsite; they helped load the handful of boxes we retained into our car and gave us a modest courtesy discount on the total charges.
